Relatively new to the world of quilting, having bought his first sewing machine in 2016, Brett has completed over 60 quilts, attended multiple International Quilt Markets, pattern tested for international-renowned designers, been featured on quilting podcasts, CBC Radio, and in international quilting magazines. He has created his own original quilt patterns and fabric designs, been featured in the 2022 Quilter’s Planner, and developed an Artist’s Palette thread collection with Wonderfil Specialty Threads. His debut fabric collection, Stag and Thistle, for Northcott Fabrics, launched in the fall of 2019, his second collection Prairie Meadow shipped in the fall of 2021, and his third collection Wild in the fall of 2022. Brett will present about his quilting journey, marketing NBQ, inspiration for his fabric collections, and showcase an array of his favourite quilts and concludes with a compressed trunk show with his favourite smaller projects and with a Q&A session.
